If thou were to raise thine idyllic eyes And view the whispers in the skies, Which rise from my lips, smiling and bruised -These lips warmed from mouths fast fused- Then thou would see the pleas within, The soft-spoken prayer within my sin. How this love, most holy and blessed, Must surely forgive all things transgressed. Hell could not bear a kiss so pure. Grace of heaven surrounds an act most demure. So let us ignore the human judgments thereof, And know our passion is endowed from above.

Upon this lash of innocence demure, Lie liquid crystals, born of heaven's sighs. A fluid ribbon's subtlety implies An understated, succulent couture. And every drop upon my skin so pure Brings forth such lustful flames within thine eyes. Each watery pearl belying glor'ous prize- The promised wealth naiad bodies ensure. Bejeweled wrists and neck enhance allure. My image serves like heady, sweet champagne- All thoughts but one slip, fall, become obscure. This maiden's heart you shall quite soon secure. Yet thy appraising gaze cannot see plain My own concealed teardrops amidst the rain.

Breathe deep the acrid terror- Undulating, deadly inferno Rushes through virgin, pastel skins. Nubile, flaming tongue Illuminates slender emerald veins. Noxious barbs now plaintively succumb. -Glimpse this innocent's silent adieu.- Rose-red embers winsomely flicker. Overt vanities of destruction entertain Stares intent upon such gruesome foci. -Eyes of residual dew cling upon- Solitary tears of briefest mourning.

Hesitant sighs relinquished from between barely drawn lips. The hushed charcoal of smoked words sketches lust upon our canvas throats. We lie upon sheets made slick with scarlet tears- burst forth from the incised veins of convictions. Languorous guilt -beautiful mistress- lies betwixt our tangled bodies. Cleansed by the sweat of reciprocated iniquity residual fingerprints evaporate, leaving false innocence amongst the crystals. The culprit is lost though evidence is seared within our flesh.

So, I suck at updating Deviantart. I suck at even checking my watches. And I come back and find that I am even more alienated than I thought. The new layout is . . . slightly . . . cramped? Dunno. Unfortunately, Adv. American Lit and Comp seems to lack a poetry unit, so guess who isn't going to be forced to make her creative juices into an actual project? Yep. Don't worry though, I'm getting madder at myself each day, so maybe I'll update soon.

Hey girl. It's been a while since I've last checked my DA-profile. I've just read your comment on Tragic Love and it really touched me.

"Ending on such a simple but profound statement fits the entire message you are sending."

Now we both know what forever means, is indeed a simple statement. But I'm quite fond of that line.

"In the end, it all becomes so simple. Did you love or not?"

I simply get jealouse when I see a couple of OAP's, like the ones in Nothing Hill, the part in the park where they see some words carved into a bench "where he always sat beside her". They've spent an entire lifetime and they are still deeply in love, like a boy & girl at high school, as if they've only just met.
